Whether this is your first visit to a Gurdwara or your hundredth, you are warmly welcome. This guide will help you understand what to expect so you can relax and enjoy your visit.
Everyone entering the Darbar Sahib (Prayer Hall) must cover their head, regardless of gender, faith, or background. It is a sign of respect rather than religious affiliation.
Free disposable head coverings and cloth scarves are available at the entrance. You are also welcome to bring your own scarf or bandana.
There is no formal dress code; however, modest and comfortable clothing is encouraged. Covering your shoulders and knees is a good general guideline.
As visitors sit on the floor inside the Darbar Sahib, loose and comfortable clothing is recommended.
Please remove your shoes before entering the Gurdwara. Shoe racks are provided near the entrance for everyone to use.
Going barefoot inside the Gurdwara is encouraged.
Free parking is available in the car park directly adjacent to the Gurdwara building.
Photography is welcome outdoors and in communal areas.
Inside the Darbar Sahib, please avoid using flash photography. When unsure, please ask one of our friendly sevadars.
We also appreciate visitors keeping their phones on silent during their visit.
Every visitor is welcome to enjoy Langar, our free vegetarian meal. You do not need to be Sikh, make a donation, or ask permission.
Everyone sits together as equals, symbolising unity and equality. Chairs are available for anyone who needs them.
The Gurdwara is wheelchair accessible, with accessible toilets located on the ground floor.

There is no expectation to participate in any religious practice. You are welcome to observe quietly, spend time in the prayer hall, or enjoy a meal in the Langar Hall.
